Māori Business
Kylee joined BDO Gisborne in 2006 and became a Partner in 2012. Her strong interpersonal skills, and belief in dealing kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face), have given Kylee a strong presence in the Maori business sector.
Kylee’s diverse client base has given her wide ranging experience to address a number of technical and governance issues currently facing Maori organisations. This includes acting as the Chief Financial Officer for Te Runanga O Ngati Porou, and assisting with budgeting, planning and financial reporting for small to large scale Maori farming entities.
She also consults to Maori Incorporations, Ahuwhenua Trusts and iwi organisations; has been a past business mentor through Te Puni Kokiri; and facilitates governance workshops.
