Colin Gower

A qualified insolvency practitioner, Colin has more than 36 years experience in business restructuring and management consultancy in both the UK and New Zealand. Originally from London, Colin immigrated to New Zealand in 2004.

Colin commenced his career at Deloitte’s London practice before joining a leading second tier UK accounting firm to specialise in corporate restructuring and insolvency. Colin undertakes a range of assignments for all the major New Zealand Banks.

Colin’s experience includes turnaround management, receiverships, administrations, debt restructuring, forensic accounting and both solvent and insolvent liquidations.

Colin is a consultant for the World Bank supporting World Bank initiatives in the developing world, primarily sub Saharan Africa.

Colin leads the BDO Christchurch Corporate Advisory Services division which comprises business restructuring and deal advisory divisions as well as leading the National Business Restructuring team.
