Planit's acquisition of Qual IT

The BDO team advised Planit Software Testing Limited on the acquisition of Qual IT Solutions Limited (“Qual IT”), a Wellington-based tech firm specialising in quality assurance.  

Planit Software Testing Limited (“Planit”) completed the acquisition of Qual IT Solutions Limited on 1 July 2022. The combined Planit and Qual IT will create the largest independent IT testing company in New Zealand and Australia, and the third largest globally. Qual IT’s partner cyber security company, SEQA Limited, was also acquired as part of the deal.

BDO was engaged by Planit Software Testing Limited to perform the financial and tax due diligence.
